Q. Where is the WZZK Downtown Throw-Down located and how to I get to there?
A - The WZZK Downtown Throw-Down is Outdoors at the BJCC at Richard Arrington Jr. Boulevard between 22nd and 24th Streets. The site is adjacent to the east parking lot for the BJCC and across the street from the SEC Conference offices and the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.

Q - How much does it cost to get into the event? Do I need to order separate tickets for headline shows?
A -General Admission Tickets are $15 per day in advance. VIP Tickets are $50 per day.
Separate tickets are not needed for the headline shows.
Q - Will there be food available?
A - There will be several food vendors selling various types of food on the festival site.
Q - Are there backstage passes to any of the shows for sale?
A - There are no "back stage passes" for this event.
Q – Where should I park?
A - Parking is available in adjacent lots and on the street. Prices vary.
Q – What is included in the VIP tickets, how much do they cost and how do I buy them?
A - This year's VIP package will feature an exclusive raised viewing area next to the stage for a unique VIP side-stage experience. Also included with a VIP ticket is access to the VIP Tent located next to the stage, which includes FREE food, closed circuit video, private cash bar and private restrooms. VIP tickets are $50 in advance and $60 if purchased day of show and can be purchased
through Ticketmaster.
Q – Will people who buy VIP tickets have a chance to meet the bands?
A – There are no “meet and greet passes” for this event.
Q - I'd really rather pay cash the day of the event and wanted to know if this
is the type of event with a limited number of tickets or if there will for
sure be tickets at the gate.
Q - Are we going to allow people to bring in folding chairs to this years event?
A - Yes, but chairs will not be allowed to be set up in front of the stage.
Q - Will there be a kid’s area?
A- Yes, there will be a cool kid’s area on the festival site. Bring you kids for a full day of fun for the whole family.
Q - Are cameras allowed at the event?
A - Yes. Cameras are allowed and there will be a “Photo-Walk” available to take photos
of the stars down front near the stage.
Q -What if it rains ?
A - The event is rain or shine.
Q - Is there an age limit?
A - There is no age limit and children 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY TOWARDS VIOLENCE OF ANY TYPE. ANY INCIDENTS WILL BE ADDRESSED BY BIRMINGHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT AND EVENT SECURITY. ANY PERSONS INVOLVED IN FIGHTING OR VIOLENT ACTS WILL BE REMOVED FROM SITE AND/OR ARRESTED, NO EXCEPTIONS!
